Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat, as preferred)
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons dried dill
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried onion flakes
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh chopped herbs (dill or parsley) for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients. Ensure the cottage cheese is at room temperature for easier blending.
- In a food processor or high-speed blender, combine cottage cheese, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, dried onion flakes, and salt.
- Blend on high speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until smooth and creamy, with no visible curds.
- Taste the dip and adjust seasoning by adding black pepper or additional salt, as needed.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately with your choice of accompaniments.
Notes
- To customize the dip, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness or a dollop of Greek yogurt for added creaminess.
- For a milder flavor, reduce the garlic powder or omit the dried onion flakes.
- The dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir before serving if separation occurs.
